HISTORY
Anne is a Filipina who is born and raised in the states in a Filipino Household. In being a Filipino, usually, one's career is to become a nurse, doctor, accountant, or even an engineer. But such careers never grew an interest to Anne. One thing for sure that was fascinating to her, was her old Fashion Barbie Plates. Sounds strange right. But every artist always started somewhere. And those Fashion Barbie Plates are the start of her journey. It was only the beginning of the adventures in her life.
STYLE
It's the glitz, the glam, it's that extra sparkle in many of her designs. Her style is over-the-top-beautiful/ elegant garments that not only include some extra shine but also have intricate cutouts, body/ shape, or a beautifully fitted silhouette for the person's lovely curves. Nevertheless, there is no limit to her creation. She can be your fairy godmother to make your designs come true.
METHEDOLOGY
A couple of methods she applies, as a designer when putting together a collection, are historical research, modern trends, and cultural symbolism. How such methods are applied in her design process is starting off with a theme. Once finding a theme, she then begins her research. This procedure takes place first before her design process. After gathering resourceful information for her collection, it's time to begin looking up inspirational designs.
DESIGN PROCESS
In designing a collection, not only is it about the color that makes a collection as a whole, but it is also the fabric materials and silhouette designs for their target audience/ customer. Not only is there the process of designing the garments, but the additional touch of accessorizing to make the look/ design feel complete. One of the ways she would describe her design process is like a baby. In this case, putting all of her love and care into a single design. Some may even call it being "married to your design". It's a common saying, and to her, it serves as a reminder about how much she loves the design itself.
CELEBRITIES
When designing for celebrities, Anne is hoping to be able to design for some A-list actors/actresses as well as numerous artists. A couple of celebrities Anne wishes to design for in the future is for is Pia Mia, Blake Lively, Anne Hathaway, Catriona Grey, and a couple of Korean Idols/ K-Pop groups such as Blackpink and Stray Kids.
GOALS/ OBJECTIVES
There are many things Anne hopes and wishes to check off her list as a designer. One of them is being a participant in the popular TV show where many fashion designers begin, Project Runway. A reason why Anne is eager to join is that it's a great leeway into the fashion world in having your name be known that you're a designer. But of course, before achieving such a goal, there are smaller goals to aim for. those smaller goals are to create a partnership brand/ collection.
Another goal Anne aims for in life is to become an Haute Couture designer. It's a big challenge, but Anne truly believes that she can achieve much of a goal in her life. When yearning to reach a goal, she also has a big heart for helping others. With that love, she wants to create scholarships. Such as for high school students that have an interest in majoring in Fashion Design, a scholarship for Fashion Design students at Woodbury University, for Nurses, and finally for a church organization, she takes part in as a C.B.I (Christian Brotherhood International) Officer in the Church of Christ/ Iglesia Ni Cristo.
With every goal she aims to achieve in life, Anne plans to take one step at a time in her life as this journey continues on with numerous twists and turns and unexpected walls that will only make her climb over.
